Spokane Schools and the Spokane Public Library have partnered to provide all students a full access library card. Benefits include:
  • Giving students easy access. Students will be able to use the array of databases, downloadable materials and online homework help services offered by Spokane Public Library without needing a physical card.
  • Free of charge and without accrual of fines or fees, though fees will be assessed for damaged or lost books.

The January Recommended Read is J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Grindelwald has been captured by Newt Scamander but escapes custody and begins to amass followers to rise up and rule over all non-magical beings.


Library procedures

Be sure to have a pass when you come to the library on your own.

No food is allowed in the library; however, covered drinks (no sodas or milk) are allowed at tables and magazine sitting area. If you spill anything, it is necessary you clean it before leaving the library. There is a parking lot for you to leave any food you cannot have in the library.

Backpacks on shelves when you first arrive or left in class (teacher discretion).

If you have an overdue item, you will need to return it before you can check out more items. Regretfully, no books can be checked out if you have any fines.
